Support Sanctuary Roosters

Because they’re known to be a bit vociferous and sometimes protective, HUHA has many roosters surrendered each year. It often takes awhile to find the right rural home where they can strut freely, safely and behave exactly as who they naturally are.

At any given time, HUHA has more than 80 roosters in our care roaming the sanctuary as they wait for their forever homes. Ensuring they are given the care, consideration and space they deserve until they’re re-homed is only possible with the support of our wonderful HUHA community.

If you have the means you can set up a subscription to support our sanctuary Roosters each week, fortnight or month. This will make a big difference and means we have the capacity to help more animals. 

When you sign up for ongoing support of the animals in our care you will receive a set of postcards of them as a symbol of our appreciation. Supporters who subscribe will also receive a biannual newsletter update from our rural animal department and you will be invited to our very special annual supporters day so you can to meet some of our sanctuary animals.
