Support Sanctuary Ducks

A perfect example is our permanent resident we’ve named Brick, our “pole duck”. He spends his days keeping a watch over everything – that is when he’s not busy with social appointments waddling around to visit various HUHA animals and making sure everything is just ducky.

While Brick will live out his life at HUHA, we are often called on to rescue ducks from across the country. We bring them to the sanctuary to heal or rest while we find the right rural home for them where they can access a pond or waterway and delight in being a duck.

If you have the means you can set up a subscription to donate towards the care of Brick and our other rescue ducks each week, fortnight or month. This will make a big difference and means we have the capacity to help more animals. 

When you sign up for ongoing support of the animals in our care you will receive a set of postcards of them as a symbol of our appreciation. Supporters who subscribe will also receive a biannual newsletter update from our rural animal department and you will be invited to our very special annual supporters day so you can to meet some of our sanctuary animals.
