Many geese are surrendered or rescued by HUHA each year. They can become unhappy and aggressive if they don’t have the right habitat and access to water. These often misunderstood fowl require rural homes with a pond or waterway so can be a bit tricky to place. We patiently care for them until we can match them with the right situation.
If you have the means you can set up a subscription to support Jeffrey and our rescue geese each week, fortnight or month. This will make a big difference and means we have the capacity to help more animals.
When you sign up for ongoing support of the animals in our care you will receive a set of postcards of them as a symbol of our appreciation. Supporters who subscribe will also receive a biannual newsletter update from our rural animal department and you will be invited to our very special annual supporters day so you can to meet some of our sanctuary animals.
